SPORA supports independent global BIPOC content creators and works featuring the dispora—-the U.S., Canada, Africa, Latin America, Europe, India, Asia, Australia, and the Caribbean Islands.
We welcome independent filmmakers, producers, and video content creators to submit your film, web series, visual podcast, etc. for review.
ELIGIBILITY FOR CONSIDERATION:
At this time we are giving priority to Curator submitted selections and those films that have been pre-selected. Please provide your Curator Code when completing the submission form.
To meet our guidelines, your completed project must include a lead character of BIPOC descent. The focus and subject matter should be centered on the BIPOC experience.
Although we are primarily accepting films that have been chosen by our Award Winning Curators. We are also accepting unsolicited submissions; each title that is submitted through this site will go through a review process to see if it aligns with our mission, ethics, and standards.
All genres are currently being reviewed. If we believe your film/documentary/series meets our guidelines, we will follow back up with you with the next steps.
Please note, due to the high volume of submissions, we are unable to reply back to everyone. At this time, we can only get back to creators that we are moving forward with and those that have been pre-selected by our Curators.
